DAY 8

Whoo hoo got up early to weigh myself and test my blood sugar. Have lost 1.2kg and my blood sugar has dropped by .6 units. Now I really am motivated to keep going. Of course Rob lost more weight and his blood sugar dropped more than mine but I must just keep focused on myself. I probably wont blog as often this week as I am not missing the wine as much. Hopefully wont start drinking again once February is over maybe just a glass of bubbly on special occasions but not as a daily happening. Next week I willl watch what I eat more than I have this last week but I think it is better to make smaller goals and achieve them than aim too high and end up disappointed with myself. By next summer I want to have lost about 25kg and be able to get into clothes I like rather than what I can buy to fit!

  1. Brilliant,well done.There is no better motivation than seeing the success of your efforts.The first week was no doubt difficult but already you are seeing the good results and feeling better mentally and physically.Keep up the good work.

  2. AWESOME STUFF!!! You guys are amazing, I am so impressed and proud. That is an awesome amount of weight to have lost in only 8 days. Keep up the brilliant work. Remember that you and dad are different people and your bodies work in different ways, so don't compare yourself to him but focus solely on your achievements and then celebrate both of your achievements together. Don't start thinking to far into the future or try and change too many things, ie drink, food exercise etc etc, as you might then start to feel down and demotivated. I think that what you have achieved so far is an incredible accomplishment and am so so proud of you. Loads of love and hugs, me,
